We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Support / Bookkeeper with experience in the construction industry. This role supports daily office operations while handling bookkeeping and accounting support functions related to construction projects, vendors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support
Provide general administrative support to construction management and office staff
Maintain organized project files, contracts, and compliance documents
Assist with onboarding subcontractors and maintaining vendor records
Support scheduling, correspondence, and document control
Order office supplies and assist with general office operations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and subcontractor invoices
Assist with job cost data entry and project expense tracking
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Prepare and send customer invoices
Support payroll processing and timecard verification
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks or construction accounting software
Assist with month‑end close and basic financial reporting
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in administrative support or bookkeeping within the construction industry
Working knowledge of construction accounting principles and job costing
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with subcontractors, lien waivers, and compliance documentation
Payroll experience in a construction environment
Associates degree in accounting or bookkeeping certification
