Set up and operate various types of machines, including lathes, mills, and CNC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus. Proven experience as a machinist, with a strong understanding of machining processes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing environment. Base pay range
$28.00/hr - $36.00/hr Seniority level
