Overview Flynn Panera is a Panera Bread franchisee. The organization operates with a decentralized model where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader, with Area Directors and General Managers reporting to them. Assistant Managers help run daily operations and support management responsibilities across cafe teams.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding leadership to the cafe team and support daily operations.
Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management.
Demonstrate experience in hospitality with attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Lead, mentor, and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet staffing needs and store performance goals.
Support management across restaurant operations, including ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines and values.
Coordinate daily operations during scheduled shifts and serve as a resource for associate questions.
Assist in budget management and cost control measures as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Restaurant management involves strategic planning, shift organization, and day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, bakery operations, and catering.
Act as primary conduit of information between associates and the management team and retain/develop team members.
Ensure customer satisfaction through guest engagement and service quality.
Support training to ensure staff are competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
Promote a professional image and embody company values and beliefs.
Education And Experience
At least 2-3 years of Hospitality Management experience.
A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred.
Food Management Certifications are a plus.
Must have a proactive, ownership-minded mentality.
