Peachtree Immediate Care has an immediate opening for a Patient Service Representative at our Fayetteville location. This full‑time position involves 3 12‑hour shifts with a rotating weekend shift and requires flexibility to float between the Fayetteville, Sharpsburg, and Newnan clinics.
Responsibilities
Greet, register, instruct, and discharge patients.
Obtain and enter demographic and financial information into the computer system.
Verify insurance eligibility and explain payment policies, billing, and collection processes.
Determine and collect co‑pays, co‑insurance, deductibles, past‑due balances, and other patient financial responsibilities while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Answer telephone promptly, take virtual messages, and return voicemails.
Perform clerical tasks as required.
Multi‑task and manage mail (open, sort, screen).
Assure the readiness of the facility each day.
Assist patients with required processes, such as CCPA, Self‑Pay, and Out‑of‑Network procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with patients in a high‑paced facility.
Reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional offices.
Availability for all shifts, including day, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Working Conditions Works in clean, well‑lit, heated, and air‑conditioned areas. Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible. The work schedule depends on department needs and current staffing patterns; holiday and weekend work as necessary.
