CRH Healthcare is seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our urgent care team in Dunwoody, GA. This full‑time position requires 3 12‑hour shifts, including a rotating weekend shift.
Responsibilities
Greet, register, instruct, discharge, and provide general assistance to patients.
Obtain demographic and financial information and enter the computer system.
Verify insurance eligibility and convey payment policies to patients.
Collect co‑pays, co‑insurance, deductibles, past‑due balances, and other patient fees; balance cash drawer.
Answer telephone calls promptly, manage voicemails, and forward messages as appropriate.
Perform clerical tasks and maintain daily facility readiness.
Assist patients with billing processes (CCPA, self‑pay, out‑of‑network).
Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high‑paced medical setting.
Reliable transportation to the assigned office.
Availability for all shifts, including day, evening, and weekend hours.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.
Warm, outgoing personality and excellent telephone etiquette.
Working conditions: the office is clean, well‑lit, heated, and air‑conditioned. Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible. The schedule depends on department needs and current staffing patterns; holiday and weekend work as necessary.
