Base Pay Range:
$17.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (Partial‑time, 32 hours/week)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Assist the maintenance team in keeping buildings and grounds clean, orderly, and safe.
Perform, janitorial, and related maintenance activities when required.
Pick up trash, rake, and shovel grounds and maintain breezeways, sidewalks, and other common areas.
Assist with cleaning and turnover of vacant apartments to make them rent‑ready.
Conduct move‑out inspections and report findings; check smoke detectors and other safety equipment.
Complete maintenance requests and work orders; update the Property Maintenance Log daily.
Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections of all units and notify the Community Manager of safety‑related issues and lease violations.
Execute other duties as assigned to support property operations.
Qualifications
1–3 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to draft routine reports and correspondences.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Problem‑solving and reasoning ability in practical situations with limited standardization.
Physical Demands The role requires regular walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting/moving 50–75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Employees must also stand frequently and sit occasionally.
Tool Requirement Employees must supply their own tools necessary to perform maintenance work within 60 days of employment.
