Part-Time Stocker – Meat & Frozen Foods
Kimberton Whole Foods – Douglassville, PA
Schedule:
Monday 8am–3pm, Friday 8am–3pm, Saturday 12pm–8:30pm
Pay:
$15.00 hourly to start, depending on experience
Age Requirement:
Must be 18 years or older.
Benefits:
15% store discount after 60 days, 401(k) with 3% matching after 1 year and 1,000 hours worked.
Daily Operations
Provide exceptional customer service to all.
Receive and stock all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs, dairy, bakery, and specialty products.
Stock and handle product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
Rotate back stock on a first-in, first-out basis.
Work in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department.
Follow the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays.
Understand KWF inventory management practices.
Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Physical Capabilities
Full range of vision, hearing, and smell—ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control, and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Lift, grip, and carry objects up to 50–75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
Stoop, squat, and kneel—stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
Walk short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Stand for prolonged periods.
Work in a movement-based environment, majority time walking & standing rather than sitting.
Operate in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods on a regular basis.
