Produce Team Member – Part‑Time
Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part‑time Produce Team Member to join the Ottsville team.
Schedule Part‑time, approximately 24 hours per week.
Shifts Available
Thursday 12:00‑8:30 pm
Friday 6:30 am‑3:00 pm
Saturday 12:00‑8:30 pm
Age Requirement Must be 18 years or older.
Pay $16.00 hourly established at the start of employment.
Benefits Part‑time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401(k) with a 3% match after one year and 1,000 hours worked.
Daily Operations
Provide exceptional customer service to all.
Receive and stock all incoming fresh produce and related items.
Rotate fresh produce on a first‑in‑first‑out basis.
Collaborate with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product signage throughout the department.
Follow the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the department.
Understand KWF inventory management practices.
Physical Capabilities
Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects up to 50–75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
Stooping, squatting, and kneeling to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Standing—prolonged standing.
Work environment—motion‑based with the majority of time spent walking and standing rather than sitting.
Climate—ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back‑stock area) and handle cold projects regularly.
