Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including staff, judges, claimants, authorized representatives, advocates, and program representatives.
Analyze complex issues related to the Scope of Benefits caseload and research case status in the Appeals Case Management System (ACMS).
Provide responses to stakeholder inquiries, escalating when necessary and updating information in case files.
Assist with finalizing hearing schedules and review written/verbal hearing requests received from claimants.
Determine claim validity, assign cases to appropriate DHCS or DOR programs, and correspond with programs and claimants for additional information.
Analyze facts against regulatory and policy provisions to identify pre‑hearing tasks and prepare them for Administrative Law Judge review.
Maintain organizational program materials, ensuring accuracy and up‑to‑date information.
Respond to complex program questions in accordance with federal and state regulations and provide interpretation of eligibility statutes, regulations, policies, and guidelines to the public and stakeholders.
