Fleet & Administrative Analyst (GSA BOAC) – Analyst II Job Number: JC-503578 Military Department – California Military Department (CMD) Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month (minimum salary for new to State candidates may be higher if applicable). Under the direction of Directorate Leadership, the Analyst II provides analytical, administrative, and logistical support to the California Military Department’s Facilities and Infrastructure Directorate. The Analyst II serves as the primary point of contact for the Department’s Billing Office Address Code (BOAC) for the GSA fleet, overseeing vehicle acquisitions, utilization tracking, billing reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Analyst II coordinates with GSA Fleet Management Centers (FMCs) to resolve billing and fleet issues and affords administrative and logistical support in alignment with Army Regulation (AR) 58‑1, Motor Vehicle Management, and Army Regulation (AR) 735‑5, Property Accountability. Working Conditions
Standard office setting, desk or front desk workstation with computer, telephone, and standard office equipment. Frequent interaction with staff, visitors, and customer service both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities
Responsibilities are outlined in the duty statement. Key duties include: Maintain and update BOAC records, vehicle acquisition logs, and utilization reports. Reconcile billing with GSA and federal regulations, including resolution of discrepancies with FMCs. Coordinate vehicle acquisition processes, ensuring compliance with Army and California regulations. Provide administrative support for fleet management, including record keeping and reporting. Support property accountability and vehicle maintenance schedules. Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualifications are detailed in the class specification. The Analyst II position requires a minimum education level and experience that meets the classification criteria. Candidates must pass a National Agency Check and background vetting (DMDC) and obtain/maintain a CAC. A valid California Driver’s License (CDL) is required. Desirable Qualifications
Ability to travel statewide for vehicle inspections, logistical coordination, or training. Willingness to work in a military environment. Strong organizational, communication, and independent work skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in property accountability, inventory management, or logistics support.
