All salary ranges listed reflect a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits each month.
Overview Under the direction of the Community‑Based Adult Services (CBAS), Field & Policy Support Team Section Chief, Supervisor II for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), the Analyst II performs complex analytical functions supporting the California Department of Aging (CDA) mission.
The Analyst II provides support to the EVV Program for CBAS and the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) under Section 12006 of the federal 21st Century Cures Act.
The role supports CDA initiatives related to California’s aging population and disabled adults, collaborating with other teams and staff.
Responsibilities include sharing team workloads, providing technical assistance, conducting program assessments, ensuring compliance, managing contract administration, and developing policies, procedures, and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data analysis to support program evaluation and decision‐making.
Develop and implement monitoring tools to assess provider or program compliance.
Provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct program assessments and support policy and procedure development.
Participate in team decision‑making, strategy formulation, and problem resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
Classification: ANALYST II
Desirable Qualifications
Strong ability to research, interpret, and communicate laws, regulations, and program policies.
Experience monitoring, auditing, or evaluating provider or program compliance in state or federally regulated health or social service programs.
Skilled in writing clear policies, procedures, and developing effective monitoring tools.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, delivering presentations, and providing technical guidance.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
