What You'll Do
Perform daily accounts payable activities including scanning, filing, and verifying financial records.
Process invoice payments and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
Post ledger and journal entries and assist in balancing accounts payable.
Maintain accurate data entries in the automated accounting system.
Verify accuracy of invoices, expense vouchers, wire payments, and other accounting documents.
Provide customer service to internal clients, suppliers, and customers regarding inquiries.
Investigate discrepancies in financial data and recommend resolution actions.
Process reimbursements for travel expenses, verifying expense reports and ensuring policy compliance.

Minimum Job Requirements
High school diploma and minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Associate degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Security Requirements
Requires a Q clearance; qualified candidates will be considered regardless of current clearance status.
Qualified candidates must obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, a counterintelligence‑scope polygraph is required.
