Full‑Time Warehouse/Donations Assistant , you will play an integral role in advancing our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to live.

Position Purpose Assist customers and donors by safely unloading donations, loading purchases, and keeping the back room and donation dock organized by efficiently moving merchandise to and from the sales floor.
Essential Functions
Provide outstanding customer and donor service
Safely and promptly load and unload donated and purchased merchandise
Safely load and unload ReStore trucks
Follow safety procedures when moving merchandise to and from the sales floor
Communicate donation acceptance policies and refer donors to alternate options when needed
Maintain knowledge of products, services, and customer‑related policies
Work effectively as part of a team with staff and volunteers
Operate a forklift as required
Physical Requirements
Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to work outdoors in all climates
Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift on a regular basis
Ability to climb steps to forklift cab
Ability to move and stand for extended periods of time

Estimated Time Commitment
40 hours/week, including weekends and periodic holidays. Rotating Sunday‑Saturday schedule, Sundays off, additional day off as scheduled by supervisor. Shifts scheduled to begin as early as 8:30AM and end as late as 7PM, depending on staffing needs.
Level of Authority
Requires minimal supervision
Reports to Backroom Supervisor
