JOB SUMMARY Provide comprehensive assessment, therapy, and consultation services in the area of communication disorders.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must proficiently read, speak, and write in both English and Spanish.
Requires a valid SLP license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech‑Language Pathology prior to the first day of employment, or a Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) license with an endorsement for either communication disorders or speech‑impairment.

Analyze the effectiveness, appropriateness, and usefulness of strategies and practices used with students, parents, and staff.
Participate as a member of a team (IEP/IFSP, Placement, etc.) and assume appropriate roles; lead, follow, and support others in a productive manner.
Assess students’ levels of functioning and their therapy needs.
Participate in development of IEP/IFSP for each eligible student.
Design, implement, and supervise delivery of instructional programs to meet IEP/IFSP goals.
Collect, record, and evaluate therapy data.
Effectively manage student behavior.
Work cooperatively and communicate appropriately with parents, local district personnel, and ESD personnel.
Manage daily work schedule utilizing effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Order and maintain appropriate therapy materials and equipment.
Evaluate and report student performance and progress.??
