About Flynn Panera Flynn Panera is a Panera Bread franchisee operating upscale cafés featuring baked goods, soups, salads and specialty espresso beverages. The franchise is part of Flynn Group, a global restaurant operator with a strong focus on quality and customer service.

Position Description As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in running day‑to‑day operations, lead a team of up to 75 staff members and ensure a high‑quality service experience for guests. You’ll manage labor, scheduling, inventory, bakery operations, marketing and facilities while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Take responsibility for overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations and catering.

Analyze and plan restaurant sales and profitability; create and execute plans for sustained profitability.

Serve as primary conduit of information between associates and the management team.

Retain and develop staff, while coaching and mentoring through performance reviews and one‑on‑one’s.

Manage a budget and control costs.

Coordinate operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Recruit, hire and train staff to meet staffing requirements and company standards.

Promote a safe, clean, and high‑quality environment while ensuring food quality and safety.

Lead and support the entire team in maintaining company values and culture.

Perform other duties as required to meet business needs.

Education & Experience

At least 2–3 years experience in Hospitality or Restaurant Management.

A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred.

Food Management Certifications are a plus.

Demonstrated "Run it Like You Own It" mentality.
