The Club is organized as a 501(C)(7) Corporation.
Position Overview The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of all clubhouse operations and serves as the senior operational leader in the absence of the General Manager. Partnering closely with the General Manager and Executive Team, the AGM provides visible, hands‑on leadership across food and beverage, facilities, valet, locker rooms, and property operations, while working collaboratively with golf operations, agronomy, finance, and human resources to ensure seamless alignment and execution.
The AGM is deeply involved in developing and mentoring department heads and future leaders, fostering a positive and high‑performing work environment, and ensuring operational consistency through effective training, communication, and oversight. This role is accountable for the planning and execution of dining programs and club events, budget development and financial performance, labor and cost controls, inventory management, and adherence to legal and safety standards. The AGM also contributes to long‑range strategic planning, capital and facility improvements, and continuous operational refinement, while serving as a trusted resource for members, staff, and committees.
Initial Priorities of the New Assistant General Manager
Dedicate the first six months to immersing themselves in the Club’s history and culture while prioritizing relationship‑building with members and staff; these insights will be used to mentor, train, and develop the team under a consistent standard of excellence, fairness, and transparency.
Evaluate clubhouse operations and service standards to ensure they exceed member expectations, implementing necessary changes to elevate the overall experience.
Become familiar with and take ownership of the food and beverage and clubhouse operating budgets, ensuring that revenues and expenses are in line with projections while upholding standards of excellence and being a financial steward.
Continue to create and support a culture of empowerment and accountability among department heads while maintaining full ownership of clubhouse operations. Serve as a coach and mentor to key leaders, investing intentionally in their growth and development, strengthening collaboration across departments, and fostering strong leadership alignment throughout the organization.
Candidate Qualifications
Proven experience in multi‑departmental leadership within luxury hospitality or private club environments.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong task‑management skills.
Approaches leadership with confidence and grace, without ego or self‑importance; possessive of high EQ.
Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams through mentoring, training, and leadership.
Motivated to grow under the mentorship of an experienced GM with a clear path toward a future General Manager role.
Must play golf at some level and have a high sense of golf IQ.
Skilled at building synergy across teams and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
Accountable and hands‑on leader who inspires high performance and follows through on commitments.
Adept at balancing high service standards with fiscal responsibility and operational discipline.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and high sense of emotional intelligence; confident when engaging with members, staff, and committees.

Educational and Certification Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on Hospitality Management.
Substantial private club or hospitality experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
Industry certifications such as CCM or PGA are encouraged but not required.

Salary and Benefits Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The club offers an excellent bonus and benefits package, including association membership. Salary Range: $230,000 – $250,000.
