Responsibilities:
Oversee the review, evaluation, inspection, and certification of health facilities and agencies for compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and investigations of complaints.
Carry out program activities in a specific region of the state for facilities and agencies under the jurisdiction of the Center.
Ensure all Department and Program mandates, policies, and procedures are carried out in an appropriate and consistent manner.
Report to the Nurse Surveyor Manager.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
May work under a hybrid telework schedule in accordance with CDPH Telework Policy and Procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
+ Required: Candidates must be California residents or become California residents prior to appointment. Compliance with state residency requirements is mandatory.
+ Optional: Prior experience in health facility inspection or regulatory oversight is desirable.
