Primary Care Nurse Supervisor

Salary:
$86,000 - $95,000
Schedule:
M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; evening and weekend work may be required to cover events.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and operational leadership for Primary Care Clinic, Treatment Clinic, and Immunization Clinic in partnership with the Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
Anticipate clinic needs and align staffing and workflows with the mission and goals of Campus Health, ensuring high‑quality, compliant patient care across all assigned areas.
Supervise and support nursing staff by assigning duties within scope of practice, advancing clinical roles, and fostering professional growth through mentoring, training, and coaching.
Partner with Human Resources on hiring, performance management, employee relations, while maintaining compliance with Board of Nursing requirements, AAHC standards, and Campus Health policies.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and at least two years of experience in a specialized area.
Preferred:
Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and corrective action.
Proficiency using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to support clinical documentation and workflow efficiency.
Hands‑on clinical experience in an urgent care or ambulatory care environment, including triage, phlebotomy, IV insertion, wound care, EKG monitoring, and patient assessment.
Experience implementing or supporting new clinical services, workflows, or service lines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to mentor staff, collaborate with leadership, and manage change effectively.
Required:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina with at least two years of experience in a specialized area. A valid NC Driver’s License is not required.
