Three Rivers Midlands Responsibilities
Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and rehabilitative behavioral health services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11‑18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses. Key responsibilities include: Delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent residents admitted for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. Serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi‑disciplinary treatment team. Supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care. Ensuring the safety and well‑being of each resident. PRN nurses must work a minimum of five (5) twelve‑hour shifts per month, with two of these shifts being weekend shifts. Weekend shifts begin Saturday at 7am and end at 7:30am Monday. PRN nurses are required to work three (3) holiday shifts per year. This is a PRN position, 7pm – 7:30am &/or 7am – 7:30pm. Position requirements: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current license and registration by the South Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. Must possess knowledge of general and child/adolescent psychiatric nursing, therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, growth and development, limit‑setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors. BLS certification required. Valid SC Driver’s License preferred. Thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy & the use of psychotropic medications. One year prior child/adolescent psychiatric experience is strongly preferred. EEO Statement
