Counseling Support Duties
Assist in administrative tasks such as uploads, filing, and organization
Assist with maintaining the waitlist for clinical team as required
Help expand and develop resource lists
Assist with tabling events as required
Participate in quality improvement activities
Attend staff meetings and agency-sponsored trainings as assigned
Order and stock counseling snacks while adhering to a budget and meeting inventory needs
Organize, clean and re-set playroom materials
Childcare for counseling and parent support groups: occasional evening
Adhere to child abuse reporting guidelines as required
Complete other duties as assigned in support of the Clinical Program
Job Requirements Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the
Spring 2026
term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Must attach SPRING 2025 ONE class schedule
Must have received and accepted a work study award for the SPRING semester
Skills
Ability to operate a personal computer using e-mail, word processing and other applications related to assigned duties
Ability to work independently
Ability to adapt to change and be flexible
Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality as directed by HIPAA and 42 CFR
Ability to maintain organization and prioritization of tasks
General knowledge and experience with serving culturally diverse populations
General knowledge of the impact of trauma
Department Preferences
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
Customer service experience
