Improve the accuracy of outpatient clinical documentation coding and charging through education and root cause correction Assist clinical areas in effectively documenting services and understanding the relationship between documentation and charging Review health records to determine applicable charges and codes for hospital/facility billing Utilize official coding and billing resources to determine applicable charges and codes as documented in health records Communicate effectively with various levels of the organization, especially senior leadership and department heads What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) CPC-Certified Professional Coder, COC-Certified Outpatient Coder, RHIA-Registered Health Information Administrator, or RHIT-Registered Health Information Technician certification Minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and health record coding Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
