Monday–Friday 8 am–2 30 pm, rotating Saturdays, Part Time up to 29 hrs. Responsibilities

Provide full range of custodial/housekeeping services for college facilities, including trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, floor stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, black/white-board cleaning, etc. Assist in room set-up/take-down for special events as assigned. Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned. Maintain and demonstrate good attendance habits. This position, designated as an essential position, must be able to report to work during inclement weather and assist in snow removal from entries and walkways and application of snow-melt when required. Qualifications

Knowledge of custodial operations and industry standards. Working knowledge of janitorial, custodial, housekeeping services and sanitizing techniques. Ability to climb ladders without assistance. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Skills in using housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers and scrubbing machine. Knowledge of safety procedures, particularly as they relate to equipment operation, chemical use and trash/recycling. Essential Requirements
