About The Maintenance Technician Position You’ll be the first line of support for apartment and property maintenance. Working with the maintenance supervisor or property manager, you’ll uphold high standards of customer service and curb appeal.

Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, flooring, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and more.

Complete general carpentry tasks: wallboard, countertops, cabinets, finish work, window and door repairs, ceramic tile.

Execute proactive maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, golf‑cart, elevator, etc.

Track work orders, ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction.

Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness.

Respond to property emergencies—snow removal, fire, flood, and other incidents.

Communicate promptly with maintenance leadership about all issues.

Observe and promote safety and risk management per local, federal, and corporate rules.

Participate in on‑call and after‑hours assignments, meeting response times and managing emergencies.

Promote customer satisfaction through cleanliness, curb appeal, and courteous resident interaction.

Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Adhere to the company risk management program.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum one year of experience in property management or a directly related field.

Proficiency in general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Skills and Requirements

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.

Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.

Comfortable using office equipment: telephone, fax, printer, copier, and key‑track system.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Proficient at multi‑tasking and basic math.

Ability to de‑escalate difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.

Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy.

Compliance with all safety requirements.
