General Job Duties
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Clean equipment and facility.
Receive orientation and training on the job.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate motor skills to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate by reading a map and locating addresses within the delivery area.
Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F or higher; exposure to cornmeal dust, fumes from food odors, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
Standing most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking on ceramic tile or linoleum; walking for short distances and durations.
Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
Lifting bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; stacking up to 72 high.
Carrying cans and pizza sauce; carrying trays of dough up to 12 pounds per tray.
Pushing and pulling trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds.
Reaching above waist height, down, and forward to perform tasks.
Using hands continuously; manipulating pizza peels, cutters, and boxes.
Additional Job Details Workers continuously reach, manipulate, and coordinate hand and eye movement, use tools such as pizza cutters and peels, and handle various equipment, pencils, phones, and calculators.
