About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on real estate law to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel and support in the area of real estate investments. This includes the preparation and negotiation of a variety of legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as development agreements, construction contracts, and management agreements. The role also involves conducting thorough due diligence, particularly in the areas of title and survey review, and ensuring that all work is in compliance with current laws and regulations.
Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, be admitted to the state bar, and have a minimum of 6 years' of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in commercial real estate and proficiency in transactional law. The position requires excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
