The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President, Human Resources to serve as a strategic HR partner, advancing the workforce and culture within its dynamic academic medical center environment. The successful candidate will be a high-profile, agile leader with a proven track record in academic medicine, championing excellence in patient care, education, and research. This role demands a credible leader who can engage with the leadership teams, develop and maintain a comprehensive HR program, and ensure the institution's mission, values, and strategic plan are supported. The AVP will have oversight of various HR functions, including employee relations, counseling, coaching, on-boarding, legal issues, and HR metric analysis, and must be adept at change management, performance management, talent management, and process improvement strategies.
Applicants for the AVP HR position at the company should have a minimum of nine years of progressive HR leadership experience in a complex healthcare environment, with a Bachelor's degree required and a Master's degree preferred. The role requires a candidate with a high degree of integrity, the ability to exercise discretion, and expertise in all HR functional areas.
