About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to be the chief architect and strategic leader for all aspects of the organization's people infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the leadership team, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a highly engaged culture. Key responsibilities include building and executing HR plans that align with business goals and culture, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, talent, and succession, and ensuring that all HR policies and practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, particularly those of New York State. The role also involves designing competitive pay and incentive programs, overseeing benefits, and ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company must have a Master's degree, SHRM or PHR certification, and a minimum of 10-20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in a small organization or start-up and a background in a highly regulated industry are essential.
