The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead a team of HR professionals in a large, complex organizational setting. As the CHRO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies, advocating for the value of HR, and ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a deep commitment to equity, a strong background in labor relations, and the ability to mentor and develop staff. The CHRO will also play a key role in the transition to a shared services HR model, setting the vision for HR operations, and leading the organization through this significant structural change.

Applicants for the CHRO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a senior HR role, preferably in a government or large public-sector entity. The role demands a leader with advanced HR certification, substantial experience in budget planning, and a proven ability to manage and work in a unionized environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and at least 8 years of experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on public sector or governmental experience.
