The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to serve as its strategic leader, guiding the organization in the pursuit of its mission to advance lasting and equitable decarbonization, climate, and energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and refreshing the strategic foundation, ensuring the effective execution of the strategic plan, and maintaining a high-impact portfolio of programs. This role requires a leader who can strengthen cross-program collaboration, enhance fundraising capacity, and advance commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice. The CEO will also be the primary communicator, championing a people-centered culture and positioning the organization as a thought leader and partner in the energy and climate ecosystem.
Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, with a strong background in the energy and climate landscape. The role demands a proven track record in leading and scaling performance-based organizations, inspiring diverse teams, and exceptional communication skills.
