Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic medical environment specializing in advanced cardiovascular and peripheral interventions. The position is based in Saint Augustine, FL, and operates on a contract basis, ideal for professionals seeking flexible engagement within cutting-edge procedural settings. Key Responsibilities: Perform scrub duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI management, Carotid Stenting, and Peripheral interventions. Monitor patient status during procedures using advanced equipment such as GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, and others. Support prep and recovery areas as needed to ensure seamless patient flow and procedural readiness. Participate in a rotational schedule, including every other weekend, holidays, and assigned on-call days. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Professional certification required: RCIS, RCES, or RT(R). Minimum of one year of experience preferred, with advanced proficiency in catheterization lab procedures. Ability to effectively work with documentation systems including MacLab and Meditech. Comfortable operating in a team-oriented environment with multiple physicians and dedicated nursing staff. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Approximately 15-18 on-call days monthly. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
