Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with advanced imaging skills to support a busy cardiac catheterization unit. This contract role offers the chance to work in a cutting-edge procedural environment equipped with the latest technology, serving a high-acuity patient population in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke interventions, Carotid Stenting, and Peripheral diagnostics Utilize advanced imaging equipment such as GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra Operate MacLab/Meditech documentation system for procedure recording and patient data management Scrub and monitor during LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and Peripheral procedures ensuring patient safety and clinical compliance Support prep and recovery areas as needed and participate in a rotating on-call schedule averaging 15-18 days per month Adhere to facility standards including wearing provided Ceil blue scrubs and following uniform protocols Qualifications and Experience: Current certifications: RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) ACLS and BLS certification required Minimum of 1+ year cath lab experience preferred; advanced procedural skills essential Ability to work 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, including every other weekend and holiday rotation Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and related technology Location:Jacksonville,
