Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support advanced cardiovascular procedures as a skilled Cath Lab Technologist in a progressive medical center located in Orange Park, FL. This role offers a contract opportunity to apply your expertise in a state-of-the-art catheterization lab equipped with the latest technology including GE Innova imaging, OCT, Boston IVUS, and support devices like Impella and IABP. This procedural position involves working with a multidisciplinary team in a 370-bed hospital recognized for its excellence in cardiac care with prestigious GWTG awards in CAD, Mission Lifeline, Afib, and CHF. You will rotate every other weekend and holidays alongside hospital staff, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts weekly and participation in an on-call rotation averaging 15-18 days per month. Key Responsibilities: Scrub and monitor during diagnostic left heart catheterizations, PCI, STEMI cases, stroke interventions, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. Provide support in prep and recovery areas as needed to ensure smooth patient flow. Utilize EMR (Meditech) for precise documentation and communication. Desired Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications required. RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification mandatory. Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring for LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures. Ability to work efficiently within a busy catheterization suite and float to support areas.
