Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential speech therapy services at elementary schools serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. Positions are available on a contract basis in Fairhope, AL, within an established school district known for its commitment to student development and inclusive education. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to eligible elementary students Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed Qualifications & Experience: Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (CCC) required Must hold either a professional license or an educator certification (not both) Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within schools, is highly desirable Strong communication skills and ability to engage young learners effectively Position Details: Location: Elementary schools in Fairhope, AL area Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week Contract Duration: March 15, 2026 May 29, 2026, with one position starting ASAP until the same end date Caseload: Serving students from kindergarten to 5th grade Benefits: Gain valuable experience within a supportive school environment Opportunity to impact young students communication skills and academic success Collaborative work culture with access to educational resources Qualified professionals who are ready to make a difference in students lives are encouraged to apply.
