Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher dedicated to supporting K-5 students in a self-contained Life Skills classroom. This role focuses on delivering instruction across core subjects within a collaborative team environment that includes other Special Education professionals. Location: Cibolo, TX Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 5th Grade School Setting: K-12, self-contained classroom with a focus on Life Skills Job Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY) Responsibilities include: Planning and implementing individualized educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special needs Delivering instruction across core academic subjects with an emphasis on life skills development Collaborating closely with fellow Special Education teachers and support staff to develop inclusive strategies and enhance student success Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating effectively with parents and educational team members Creating a supportive, positive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and growth Desired qualifications and skills: Valid certification in Special Education Experience working with K-5 students in a self-contained or Life Skills setting Strong knowledge of core subject instruction adapted to meet diverse learning needs Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of educators Excellent communication and organizational skills This position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact students' lives through dedicated instruction and teamwork within a supportive school community.
