Supervise and guide education technicians to ensure effective classroom support. Collaborate with administration, service providers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Support social and emotional development alongside academic growth to prepare students for mainstream classroom integration. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote continuous improvement. Qualifications: Valid State of Maine Certification in Special Education (282) required. Experience working in a self-contained special education environment with K-8 students. Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams and families. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
