Job Summary:
This position is a principle contributor in developing specific research project requirements and is responsible for all aspects of the project from development through delivery. Perform complex laboratory and data collection techniques. The Senior Research Specialist will be performing basic science experiments under the direct supervision of PI: Robert Hyde, MD, PhD
The wage for this position is $55,000
This position is intended to be

Essential Duties Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and reagents needed to carry out experiments Learn electrophysiology recordings for mice using patch clamp Learn and perform in vivo and ex vivo ERGs Communicate with the animal facility regarding animal welfare concerns and keep PI updated on any time sensitive matters as they arise Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science or related field required. Master's degree in science preferred. A minimum of 5 years related research experience. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods. Proficient in specific lab research techniques. To apply, please visit:
