Responsibilities Our Manager‑In‑Training (MIT) program gives you the opportunity to learn and grow at an established company with over 45 years of experience. As our newest associate, you’ll experience a custom interactive program lasting approximately twelve (12) weeks, focusing on:

General Training & Comprehension – learn and perform job assignments of housekeeping positions and operate teaching others industrial cleaning equipment.

Leadership Development – assist in training, quality control, in‑servicing staff, and ensuring policies and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures – provide leadership, support, and guidance to meet quality standards, inventory, safety guidelines, customer service expectations.

Reporting – maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.

Training Responsibilities – oversee training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff, including on‑site assessments.

Leadership – manage payroll, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Communication – convey directives from client managers and facility staff to HCSG staff.

Safety – use protective gear, manage cleaning solution safety, report equipment needs.

Punctuality – consistent attendance, timely completion of tasks, respond to paging system.

Customer Experience – represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively.

Resident Experience – positive interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude; follow oral and written instructions; perform routine tasks daily.

After training, demonstrate leadership skills performing responsibilities independently.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills; maintain records and web‑based reporting.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.

Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.

Work around food and cleaning products.

Must live in the service area.
