KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(This is a general guideline; additional duties may be assigned).

Daily Operations: Oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house daily operations with the completion of checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and/or closing duties for each shift. Support daily tasks such as food preparation, cleanliness, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Lead During Meal Service: Supervise and assist the team during meal service to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and uphold service standards. Be present and interact with guests during “table visits”, and assist team with table runs, clearing tables, handle guest relations, etc.

Team Leadership & Development: Assist with training, coaching, and performance reviews for front-of-house staff including hosts, servers, and delivery drivers. Foster team morale and professionalism through ongoing development and motivation.

Staff Scheduling & Communication: Manage team schedules based on business needs and events. Lead pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate updates on menus, equipment, guest needs, and daily priorities.

Guest Service & Conflict Resolution: Ensure every guest receives exceptional service from arrival to departure. Address concerns and special requests promptly and professionally to maximize satisfaction.

Operational Compliance & Cleanliness: Oversee shift checklists, opening/closing duties, and requisitions. Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and compliant environment.

Manage Finances & Inventory: Follow proper cash handling procedures, manage cash outs during manager-on-duty shifts, monitor labor costs, and contribute to profitability through effective upselling and service initiatives.

Systems & Procedures: Ensure all team members adhere to service standards, company policies, and the Team Member Manual. Utilize the POS system efficiently to support operations and service flow.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Interested candidates should possess the following qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a supervisory or management role within the food and beverage industry is preferred.

Strong leadership abilities and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively while working in a fast‑paced environment.

Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Passion for the hospitality industry and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Comfortable hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and overseeing others while promoting a positive work culture.

Familiarity with restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems (experience a plus).

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus.

Experience with inventory management, scheduling, labor cost control, and purchasing is a plus.

Willingness and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours).

Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Comfortable working in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.

Able to work in various indoor and outdoor spaces with varying temperatures and noise levels.
