We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries operate at peak performance. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team's seamless operations. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues
Core Equipment You'll Work On
Refrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines
Cooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets
Ventilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems
Dishwashing & Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems

CFC Universal Certification
EPA 608 certification
Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
COVID-19 vaccination
Minimum 3 years of experience in:
Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair
Installation and service of refrigeration systems
Electrical troubleshooting
Gas-fired equipment and piping systems
