We've partnered with our client to find a VP of Finance to join a dynamic leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop finance and accounting teams, fostering performance and growth.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain robust internal controls.
Manage asset/liability strategies, liquidity, investments, and risk policies.
Drive month-end close, board reporting, and support annual audits and tax filings.
Conduct financial and KPI analysis to identify trends and optimize performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting leadership within a financial institution.
Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial software.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
