Position Overview
The MEP Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects within the construction sector, specifically focusing on multifamily residential projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating with various stakeholders and leading a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee MEP project planning and execution from conception to completion.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and compliance.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
* Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
* Ensure all MEP systems are designed and installed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in MEP project management in the construction industry.
* Proven experience in managing multifamily projects.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
