Position Description
Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Forklift Operators for the 1st Shift in Dekalb, Illinois.
Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
Schedule: Three‑and‑a‑half day workweek (Sunday–Tuesday 5:15 am to 4:45 pm; Wednesday 5:15 am to 11:15 am)

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment
Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision; high initiative and accuracy under pressure
Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work using health and safety methods
Must be available for flexible schedules on various shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
Perform additional duties as assigned
