Shift 3 – 9 pm to 5:30 am (rotating, no holidays, no weekends)
Job Summary The Environmental Services (EVS) Staff Member will provide a clean and safe environment at all times while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards and departmental policies. The position is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the surgical area.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of the surgical area and surrounding environment.
Observe safe practices and infection control measures.
Provide customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
Adhere to departmental policies and standards.
Experience Minimum 1 year of EVS/housekeeping experience required; 6 months of OR support experience preferred.
Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Special Skills Ability to read, write, or understand the English language and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
