Position Summary As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, mentor new technicians and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe, efficient customer service.
Expertise:
Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS and other product specifications.
Technology:
Leverage digital tools, handheld technology and systems to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, and make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information and training.
Ownership:
Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, report safety hazards, complete paperwork and logs, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies.
Brand Advocacy:
Serve as a brand advocate, modeling high‑quality service and products, and inspiring others to work in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style.
Compliance & Ethics:
Follow company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, use the Open Door Policy, and support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.
Customer Focus:
