Lead Superintendent - Multifamily - Portland, ME
We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee high‑profile ground‑up multifamily projects in Portland, Maine. This position offers leadership impact, career growth, and work in a collaborative, family‑owned general contractor environment.
Base Pay Range $145,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
Lead all on‑site construction activities for a ground‑up project in Portland, ME
Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless execution
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulations
Resolve on‑site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow
Communicate progress and challenges effectively to project stakeholders
Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on large‑scale ground‑up projects
Strong knowledge of multifamily or mixed‑use construction; hotel or senior living experience a plus
Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple trades effectively
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
OSHA certification and familiarity with safety standards
Willingness to travel or work on‑site in Portland, ME
