Job Description The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or critical health decisions. This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures. The role requires direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and demonstrating leadership behaviors with a strong focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and process excellence. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to guidelines. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Requirement/Must Have Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Flexible availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Experience Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience required. Qualification And Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
