Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and an active MA OT license for a home health position in the South Region. Responsibilities Home health setting serving patients in their residences across a defined geographic area Covers a wide patient age range from birth to over 100 years old Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30 Position requires travel within the assigned region Use of Epic EMR for charting Provide OT services for patients with cognitive and physical impairments resulting from injury, disease, or disability Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify and coordinate care needs Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources related to care provision Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse populations are expected Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital to qualify for the standard travel rate Parking at Boston locations is self-pay with daily rates; public transportation options are available Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license in MA required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of home care OT experience required 2 years of experience in acute care, rehab, or home care as an OT required Ability to work with various computer software and hand-held patient care devices preferred Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills required Certifications must be from AHA only Flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
