Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Control Inspector
to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting outgoing aviation parts and materials, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience with aviation surplus parts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform
visual inspections
of outgoing parts and materials. Inspect and verify
material and related documentation
as prescribed by sales/repair orders, highlighting any discrepancies or omissions. Review
physical attributes, quantities, and records
before release. Enter, verify, and validate accurate data in databases. Issue
material certifications , as required. Ensure compliance with
ESD (electrostatic discharge)
requirements when handling ESD-sensitive materials. Collaborate with the
Quality Assurance department
on continuous improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Key Skills & Competencies
Strong focus on
customer service
and quality. Flexible, responsive, and able to work effectively under pressure. Proactive, with strong
problem-solving and time management skills . Excellent
verbal and written communication skills ; able to liaise with all levels of the organization. Proficient in MS Office Suite
or equivalent software. Professional and detail-oriented work style. Experience & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
- Required. Minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts
- Required. 1 year of job-related experience
- Preferred. Knowledge of
ISO and/or AS Quality Standards
- Preferred
