The IT Branch (ITB) of the Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated Technical Testing Analyst in the Product Development Division (PDD) Enterprise Testing Office (ETO) - Technical Team as a Technical Test Analyst. Under the general direction of the Section Technical Testing Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the ETO - Technical Tier group. In this role the incumbent will: Provide support as the subject matter expert with scripting and execution of automation scripts for data setup for projects and regression testing for environments. Participate in analysis and maintenance of process improvements of automation, new test efforts, technical guides and user guides. Support the performance test team utilizing LoadRunner Enterprise and other performance testing management tools for execution and analysis. Provide analysis using the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool and other testing tools to manage, track, & coordinate technical resolution requests. The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and can work independently. This position is headquartered in Sacramento, CA and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Position is located at EDD’s headquarters office at 722 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, California.
