This position involves working in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with the potential for occasional medical-surgical overflow. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an ICU setting, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting changes and progress.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Respond effectively in medical emergencies and patient distress situations.- Maintain a sterile and safe environment while following infection control protocols.- Educate patients and families about health conditions and ongoing care needs. Qualifications: - Current RN Licensure.- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing.- Familiarity with MedHost/Clinician documentation systems is preferred.- Must wear solid color scrubs.
